Role Overview
Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) is responsible for maintaining Nomura’s Core IT Infrastructure platforms globally and ensuring operational stability within the environment. Working in close partnership with the Front Office and Support and Control functions, we create and deliver optimal Infrastructure solutions to support the firm’s international business operations.
The GIS project management team is looking for an intern to play a key role in developing and executing internal communication strategies for the Americas region. The ideal candidate will be creative, engaging and has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Job responsibilities
- Maintain, develop and execute on existing and new communication / marketing strategies for the group
- Create content that motivates and informs employees of important issues, accomplishments, and events involving the group
- Work with colleagues across the group to ensure communications are effectively and accurately delivered
- Provide administrative support including drafting communications and preparing presentations
- Assist in planning, writing and managing weekly and monthly status reports
- Use evidence and insight to drive improvements to our internal communication channels and develop new channels where needed

- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Exemplary organizational and time management skills
- Ability and willingness to understand technical products
- Candidates must be meticulous & ready to take on challenges
Requirements
- Outstanding academic qualifications; strong GPA
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related fields
- Graduating between May 2023 and December 2023
- US work authorization
- Available to start ASAP
- Must be able to work in-person, on various days, throughout internship
Salary Disclosures
The pay range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 per year, based on the candidate’s enrollment in a degree program. This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
