Our Program
We recruit a number of penultimate year students for our Summer Analyst Program in the Investment Banking division. The Program offers an exciting opportunity for accomplished and highly motivated individuals to gain exposure to the Investment Banking industry. It is also a great chance to get a feel for our culture, create new networks and gain valuable on-the-job training. Summer Analysts will assist bankers on financing and advisory projects as a member of the project team.
Our goal is to help our Summer Analysts advance by providing them with significant responsibilities and diverse experience. This program is a key pipeline for our Graduate Analyst Program. At the end of the internship, offers may be extended to strong performers to return to Nomura in February 2022, after graduation.
What We Look For
While no specific advanced degree or path of study is required for the Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program, strong quantitative skills and an interest in business and finance are necessary. Intelligence, leadership traits, diligence, the ability to work well with others, and the willingness and capability to function efficiently under time constraints are essential. We will also need to be convinced of your interest and commitment to the financial services industry and to Nomura in particular.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this program, students must be in their penultimate year of study, be an Australia Citizen or permanent resident and be available to commence in December 2020 for our Summer Analyst Program.
