About Risk and Capital Technology

Risk and Capital Technology (RCT) provides risk analytics and capital metrics to help the Firm manage its risk exposure and capital allocations. Risk IT has a global footprint comprised across London, New York, Mumbai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Services and applications include Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Operational Risk. Additional functions include creating tools to help the Risk business manage new products and model validation.

 

As a Technology Analyst, you will:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate applications for direct use by business stakeholders
  • Own critical components of applications and participate in hands-on development
  • Collaborate with QA for unit and integration testing of deliverables, as well as BA colleagues to understand project scope and requirements

 

Desired Skillset

  • Familiarity with programming (Java, Python) and Web technology (HTML/JavaScript/JSP/ASP, Unix Shell/Perl scripting)
  • Solid fundamental base in logical, analytical data structure; hands on programming, and problem solving
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to understand financial products
  • Candidates must be meticulous & ready to take on challenges, as the team deals with mission critical applications

Requirements

  • Outstanding academic qualifications; strong GPA
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
  • On-track to graduate between December 2025 and June 2026

 

Disclosures

The pay range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000 per year, based on the candidate’s enrollment in a degree program.

 

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
