In addition, we act as market makers, trading in fixed income and equity securities, currencies, derivatives as well as structured financial products.

Internships are a great opportunity to experience first-hand the possibilities of a career in banking. It is your chance to get a feel for our culture, create new networks and gain valuable on-the-job training. This is an opportunity to work with Nomura’s Flow Rates Sales team in Paris for a period of 6 months. Candidates applying to this vacancy must be a fluent or an French native speaker.
What’s your role?
Sales: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the firm’s clients that include banks, pension funds, hedge funds, insurance companies and corporate clients. Sales colleagues are responsible for delivering the capabilities of the firm in the form of services and products that best suits the clients’ needs.
The flow rates sales intern will join the French & Swiss team to cover real money investors in France & Switzerland on vanilla rates products. The chosen candidate will assist the team members in their daily tasks and be exposed to various financial products including nominal and inflation linked government bonds, agencies / covered bonds, interested rates swaps and options. The intern will learn to understand different client needs and how to articulate them into Nomura’s flow rates platform.
